Canadian Cottages and Boat Houses

My families’ and our cousins’ cottages and boathouses in the Thousand Islands have always been a favorite subject. During my “working years”  my only opportunity to paint was during our vacations on Tar Island. Watercolors or ink were my media.  Most of these watercolor cottages were painted between 1997 and 2000. The earliest etchings and drawings were in the 1970’s and 80’s.  My most recent paintings of cottages are acrylic on canvas. (Homes and Cottages have fascinated me since childhood when I wanted to be an Architect.)
